Costa i Fornaguera Popular Library

It’s a former popular “noucentista” library planned in 1931 by the architect Jeroni Martorell. In this building, the classicist elements are integrated into structural sketches which belong to the popular tradition. The library was closed down in 2005 in order to move its services to the Can Salvador de la Plaça Library. It’s a building of great importance for the popular history of Calella.
